Yvonne P. Rhinier, 56, of Manheim, PA passed into eternity on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Rose Mary Miller Rhinier and the late Lloyd G. Rhinier. Yvonne was baptized and believer in the Christian faith. She was a child care provider, most recently employed by Helping Hands Day Care in Akron and previously by Wee Care Day School in East Petersburg. Among her other interests, she enjoyed cooking and baking the most. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Melody L., wife of Justin Groff, of Lancaster, and Melissa A. Rhine of Lititz; two grandchildren, Nyasia R. Rhine and Tyler M. Rhine; and two siblings, Jeff L. Rhinier of Lancaster and Donna M., wife of Douglas Snavely, of Lititz. The family wishes to express appreciation to everyone that assisted Yvonne in the past and during her most recent illness with special thanks to the Kraybill family and to Brandon Lee Emery. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 6:30 PM at Akron Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, 7th and Fulton Streets, Akron, PA. There will be no public viewing. The family will greet guests at a light reception in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service. Interment will be private. If desired, new stuffed animals may be brought to the service to be donated to COBYS in honor of Yvonne's dedication to children.
