William F. Zebley, 79, went to be with the Lord November 20, 2010 in his home at Garden Spot Village, New Holland. Born in 1931 in Boothwyn, PA, he was the son of the late Paul M. and A. Kathryn Zebley. He and his wife, Judith were married 38 years and had lived 20 years in Asheville, NC.
Bill had a servants heart and loved to help in the church kitchen, as well as the rescue mission. He also volunteered at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove doing chapel tours for 7 years. He loved all sports and especially basketball, tennis and hockey.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, John Zebley and wife, Robin of Prospect Park, Delaware County, Joan Savino and husband, Tom, of Irvine, CA, Karen Murphy and husband, Bill of Fort Lauderdale, Fl, stepdaughter Sharon Heym, and husband Bob of Hartselle, Al, Deanna Nelson and husband Lance of Elverson, Pa and David Wilson and wife, Carmen of Brandon, Fl; nineteen grandchildren: Ben, Pete, Jack, Valerie, Matthew, Kenneth, Jennifer, Sara, Amy, Blake, Kyle, Jacob, Ben, Sam, Chris, Caroline, Natalie, Jeanneane, David; and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Margaret Spitzner and Pauline Menger; neices and nephews.
A service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 3 p.m. in the chapel at Garden Spot Village.
