Thomas E. McDonald, 76, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 7:55 p.m. at home. He was the husband of Billie L. McDonald, who survives him. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Wilmer E. and Beatrice M. (Ganz) McDonald.

He had been employed by J.L. Clark, Plum Street, Lancaster, for 35 years. He was a U.S. Army National defense sharpshooter and served as Umpire-in-Chief for 20 years in Lancaster County.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Thomas E. McDonald, II, Jaime W. McDonald and Jason A. McDonald, and two step-daughters, Amber Pawuk and Kimberly Martin, all of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother Kenneth E. McDonald and two sisters, Suzanne Smith and Mariellen Bitner.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, 23 S. State St., Brownstown, PA 17508. The family will receive guests at a public viewing at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will immediately follow the service in Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603 with military honors.
