Terena J. Chitwood, 57, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Manheim, entered eternal rest on Thursday morning, September 15, 2016 at Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center of Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy following an illness of three years. Born in Penn Township, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Chitwood and the late Gloria J. Kreiser Spoo. Terena professed Jesus Christ as her Savior and received a believer's baptism as a young adult. She was a 1976 graduate of Manheim Central High School. She was employed as an egg processor by Kreider Farms in Manheim and later worked at Datcon in East Petersburg. She is survived by her fiancé, Lawrence S. "Sam" Bisking of Lancaster; three half-brothers, Brian Spoo and Jay Spoo, both of Nashville, AR, and William, husband of Amanda Spoo, of Kirby, AR; two uncles, Eugene D., husband of Joanne Kreiser, of Manheim, Bruce B., husband of Mary Kreiser, of Elizabethtown; an aunt, Dolly J., wife of Leon "Yogi" Bair, of Denver, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services are private with interment in Penryn Cemetery. There is no public viewing.
