Stella M. Sikorski, 92, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011 at Lebanon Valley Home in Annville following a brief illness. Born in Windber, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Sophia Zajac Luscz. She was the wife of the late Vincent Sikorski who died in 1973.
Mrs. Sikorski was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Prior to her retirement in 1986 she was employed for 20 years by Elizabethtown College as a personal secretary for the Director of Summer Conferences.
In addition to reading, she enjoyed playing bridge and pinochle.
She is survived by three daughters, Joan, wife of Jay M. Thome, of Elizabethtown, Gloria J., wife of Frank C. Aldinger, of Elizabethtown, and Gail F., wife of Daniel Palmer, of Alpine, CA; a son, Vincent P. Sikorski, husband of Susan Maasch, of Bend, OR; seven grandchildren, James Thome, Steve Thome, Patrick Aldinger, Cynthia Melhorn, Frank W. Aldinger, Lindsey Palmer, and Chad Palmer; four great grandchildren, Heather Melhorn, Hollie Melhorn, Hunter Thome, and Harley Thome; two brothers; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
