Peter White, 76, of Lititz, PA, took his first breath of Heaven's wonderful, fresh, perfect air and walked into the arms of his dearly loved Savior on Tuesday afternoon, October 13, 2015 at this home. He is finally home. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Pauline Press White. He was the loving husband of Rebecca L. Richmond White for 25 years on October 6.
Peter attended Lititz Grace Church where he was a greeter and a member of the Encouragers Sunday school class. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Peter was employed by Battery Warehouse in quality control and retail sales until the decline in his health. He was an avid Penn State fan, train enthusiast, and Civil War buff. He especially enjoyed visiting Gettysburg battlefield with his family.
While he is now enjoying perfect health, he was loved and will be missed by many, including his wife; three sons, Jason, husband of Cynthia Brown White of Dover, PA, and their son, Matthew Culler; Jeffrey, husband of Susan Scarantino White and their sons, Adam and Monroe, of Sterling, VA; and Timothy White at home; a brother, Donald White of Highlands, NJ; his friends that became as family; his church family and co-workers.
We have way too many to thank for their love and support during his fight with cancer. We pray you know who you are. We would like to give a heart-felt thank you to his home care Hospice team... you are the best.
