Obituary

Pauline H. Good, 90, of Brethren Village, formerly of Manheim and Lititz, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday evening, January 23, 2016. She was granted her desire to pass peacefully in her own home without suffering a long illness. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer S., Sr. and Elizabeth Eshleman Huber. Pauline was a woman of strong faith and a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim. She was committed to working hard at various jobs in order to provide for her five children. In addition to possessing the gift of encouragement, she had an optimistic and cheerful attitude and a good sense of humor. She was extremely proud of her entire family. Pauline is survived by five children, Dr. Glenn E. Good of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Gloria A., wife of Richard A. Gensler, of Dillsburg, Jo Lynette, wife of Galen Hershey, of Manheim, Janice E., wife of Philip N. Newcomer, of Manheim, and Timothy N, Good of Mount Joy; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three siblings, Earl, husband of Charlotte Huber, of Conestoga, Elmer, Jr., husband of Ruth Huber, of Manheim, and Erma, wife of John Witmer, of Mount Joy. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Mildred Pickel, Mark Huber, Galen Huber, and Luella Myer. A funeral service will be held on Thursday evening, January 28, 2016, at 7:00 PM at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA. The family will receive guests at Brethren Village on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until the time of the service. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be private at Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery, Lititz.
