Milton M. Dalley, 81, of Manheim, PA, formerly of Hunterdon, NJ, passed away Sunday morning, September 20, 2015, at Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community in Manheim following a recent decline in health. Born in Reaville, NJ, he was the son of the late Bergan and Bertha Brokaw Dalley. He was the husband of R. Elaine Hershey Dalley of Manheim.
Milton was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School. A diesel mechanic, he was employed for many years by Vianini Pipe, Inc. in Somerville, NJ. Earlier in his life, he was a diesel mechanic for Bass Trucking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Christopher Dalley of Bethlehem, PA; a stepson, James, husband of Lori Sonnen, of York; and four brothers, Arthur, husband of Betty Dalley, of Flanagan, IL, George, husband of Sarah Dalley, of Christiansburg, VA, Harold, husband of Dolly Dalley, of Nanticoke, and Sherwin, husband of Lucy Dalley, of Washington, NJ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bergan Dalley, Jr., and a stepson, Steven Sonnen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Kauffman Mennonite Cemetery, 1355 Lancaster Road, Manheim, PA. There will be no viewing.
