Mary Jane Purcell, 87, of Elizabethtown, PA, formerly of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Bellvue, she was the daughter of the late Melvin W., Sr. and Evelyn E. Eagles Koehler.  She was the wife of the late Billy M. Purcell for 40 years prior to his passing in 1999.

Mary Jane was a secretary during her years of employment.  Among her other clerical abilities was her skill as an excellent typist.  Over the years, she worked for several companies across the United States and in various industries and professions.  In addition to being an avid reader and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening, being involved in several garden clubs throughout her lifetime.

Mary Jane is survived by three siblings, Melvin W., Jr., husband of Nancy Koehler, of Upper St. Clair, John W., husband of Betty Koehler, of Petrolia, and Carolyn V., wife of Roland Snyder, of Elizabethtown.

There are no services. Private interment will be at Crestview Memorial Park in Grove City, Pa.
