Obituary

Mary I. Bingeman, 92, of Lititz, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday morning, September 8, 2013 at United Zion Retirement Community following a three month decline in health. Born in Hollinger, Lancaster County, PA., she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Kathryn Snyder Walton. She was the wife of the late Lester G. Bingeman who died on September 22, 2005. Mary was an active member of Lititz Church of the Brethren and the Rose of Sharon Sunday school class. Until 1987, she and her husband owned the former Bingeman's Restaurant on North Broad Street in Lititz for 25 years. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra L., wife of Jay E. Booth, of Lititz, and Patti M., wife of M. Patrick Meenehan, of Manheim, PA; two grandsons, Matthew, husband of Andrea Michael and Marcus, husband of Jody Michael, all of Manheim; three great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday evening, September 15, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 West Orange Street, Lititz, PA with Rev. Ralph Moyer officiating. Private interment will be in Ruhl's Cemetery in Manheim. The family will receive guests at a reception immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Please omit flowers.
