Marlin E. Miller, 82, of Manheim, PA, formerly of Elm, entered rest at his home on Friday, September 18, 2026. Born in Lincoln, he was the son of the late David H. and Mary M. Wampler Miller. He was the husband of Julie N. Braunstein Miller for 59 years on August 19.

Marlin was a member of Chiques Church in Manheim where he sang in the men's chorus and served on the cemetery board. Following graduation from Manheim Central High School in 1962, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as an Airman 1st Class during the Vietnam War.

Prior to retiring in 2006, he was employed for 32 years as a mail handler by the United States Postal Service in Lancaster. Following his retirement, he was employed part-time by Rufus Brubaker in Manheim. Marlin and Julie followed Baron sports teams throughout the years. He loved drinking Mountain Dew and always enjoyed riding motorcycles. In his younger years, he was a runner and participated in marathon races.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Amber M. Kready of Lititz and Jason J., husband of Alice (Buggy) Miller, of West Chester; four grandchildren, Laken (Bryan) Conner, Hunter (Serena) Kready, and Autumn (Gavin) Hansel and Maisie Miller; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Miller, of Manheim and Donna Miller, of Manheim. Marlin was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; five brothers, Kenneth, Larry, James, Carl, and Jay Miller; and his step-mother, Martha (Reesor) Miller.

A funeral service will be held for Marlin on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers.
