Margaret W. Sensenig, 91, of Leola, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday morning, August 21, 2016 at Manor Care in Elizabethtown. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Alvin R. and Susan S. Wenger Heisey. She is the last of a family of 11 children. A homemaker, Mrs. Sensenig was a member of Conestoga Church of the Brethren in Leola and a former member of Ephrata Church of the Brethren where she had been a member for many years. She is survived by ten children, Jay R., husband of Linda Sensenig, of Marietta, Joyce D. Ellis of Midlothian, VA, Carolyn D., wife of Raymond Shirk, of New Holland, Vicki G. Sensenig of Tucumcari, NM, Cassandra J., wife of Ronald Sload, Jeffrey L., husband of Barbara, of Lancaster, Jason R., husband of Karen Sensenig, of Lancaster, Joel M., husband of Penny Sensenig, of Landisville, Jerome D., husband of Donna Sensenig, of Lancaster, and James Brian, husband of Michelle Sensenig, of Orlando, FL; two foster children, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, a number of foster great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Her family and friends will miss her delicious homemade chow-chow and her healthy laugh among other lasting memories. A memorial service will be held on Friday morning, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Conestoga Church of the Brethren, 141 East Main Street, Leola, PA 17540. There will be no public viewing. Private interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Manheim. The family will receive guests at a reception at the church immediately following the service. Please omit flowers.
