Lynne H. Hays, 76, of Mount Joy, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, July 20, 2023 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA.  Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Marie E. Landford Hilpert.  She was the wife of the late David H. Hays who passed in 2018.

Lynne was a member of Proclamation Church in Mount Joy, a Presbyterian Church in America.  She was also involved in women's Bible studies and a member of the Christian Women Organization.  Lynne earned a Master's degree from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland in social work.  She spent her career as a devoted social worker who loved helping people.  She retired from direct services at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA.

She is survived by two sons, Justin H., husband of Julie Belch Haldeman, of Clarks Summit and Erik H., husband of Jodee Staten Haldeman, of Annandale, VA; five grandchildren, Isaac, Ellie, Rowen, Thomas, and Andrew Haldeman; and a sister, Karen, wife of Arthur Livingston, of Memphis, TN.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Hilpert.
