Lorraine C. Mascioli, 89, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Poughkeepsie and Queens, NY, entered eternity on Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2014, at Landis Homes, Lititz, following a decline in health. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Gordon Halpern. She was the wife of the late Joseph Mascioli who died in 2011. A homemaker, Mrs. Mascioli attended St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Lancaster, PA. In her earlier years, she was employed by Richmond Hills Savings Bank, Queens, NY, in the customer service department performing secretarial duties. She was a loving grandmother that gave of her time and energy to her two grandchildren, Paul and Hannah. In addition to her grandchildren, she is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Mascioli of Lancaster, and Karen of Cleveland, OH; and a sister, Arlene Willard of Destin, FL. A Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, December 19, 2014, at 10 AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St. Thomas Road, Lancaster, PA, with The Reverend Jane E. Miron, Curate Regina Barrett, and Mr. David Miron officiating. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be no viewing.
