Krista F. Sauder, 68, of Manheim, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Howard Smith and the late Alta Earhart Eshleman.  She was the loving wife of Lester E. Sauder for 46 years prior to his passing in 2022.

After graduating from Donegal High School in 1973, Krista began working for the former AMP, Inc. in Mount Joy as a switchboard operator for 15 years.  She then devoted her time and energy to being a wife, mother, and homemaker.

Krista was devoted to her Christian faith and regularly met with the LOL ladies Bible study group.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and boating at their second home near Raystown Lake.  Krista often cared for her grandchildren and routinely spent her Fridays shopping.

She is survived by two sons, Jeremy L. Sauder, partner of Jina M. Permenter, of Manheim, and Jason R., husband of Alisa A. Dupler Sauder, of Manheim; six grandchildren, Austin, Colin, Madison, Landen, Mia, and Lily Sauder; a sister, Genita, wife of Glenn Flowers, of Cassville; a stepbrother, John, husband of Valerie Eshleman, of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Helen Eshleman of Pennsylvania.  In addition, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Eshleman.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.  The family will receive guests during a public viewing at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  To express a condolence with the family or for additional information, visit www.spencefuneralservices.com.
