Jeffrey L. Rhinier, 60, of Lancaster, PA, passed on to a better place on Saturday morning, October 3, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital after battling diabetes and heart disease. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Rose Mary Miller Rhinier of Lancaster and the late Lloyd G. Rhinier.
Jeff was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Lancaster and a 1973 graduate of Manheim Twp. High School. In his younger years, he was employed in construction and for the last 30 years, he held employment with various local restaurants, working at House of Pizza for many of those years. Jeff had a lifelong passion for slow-pitch softball. He played on a local league for many years and then managed the Farrell team. In addition to being a die-hard New York Jets and Boston Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed horse racing and a good hand of Texas Hold'em.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Donna M., wife of Douglas E. Snavely, of Lititz, three nieces, one nephew; two great nieces, and two great nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne P. Rhinier.
