Obituary

Jaxson David Landis, 3 days, peacefully went home to be with his heavenly Father following birthing complications on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Jaxson was born in Penn State Medical Center Lancaster on Saturday, October 11. He was the son of Derick S. and Megan E. Mohler Landis of Manheim. Jaxson fought hard to overcome his medical challenges, but in the end, they were just too great.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by a big sister, Madeleine S. Landis, who was very much anticipating a baby brother. He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Neil and Elizabeth Feeser Mohler of Windsor, PA and paternal grandparents, Daniel and Janella Schnupp Landis of Manheim; an aunt, Courtney Mohler of Dallas, TX, and aunt and uncle, Danielle and Joshua Huffman and their three children of Lititz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main Street, East Petersburg, PA. There will be no public viewing. Private interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network.
