Irene L. Thomas, 85, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 12, 2018 at her home with her sons by her side. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Louise Ulmer Braun. A homemaker, Irene delighted others with the things she cooked and baked. She also enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She is survived by three children, Charles C., Jr., husband of Barbara Lehman Fisher, of Wrightsville, Robert J., husband of Robin Long Fisher, of Lebanon, and Arlene L., wife of Dimas Figueroa, of Carmel, NY; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Adam Thomas, Jr., and a brother, Walter J. Braun, Jr. Services are private. Interment will be at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.
