Grace Boyer, 90, formerly of Lexington, PA, passed peacefully on Saturday morning, January 1, 2011 at United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, PA with her family by her side. Born in Lititz, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roman and Erna Todd Boyer. Earlier in her life, she was employed by the former Lititz Shoe Company and, later, B&G Shoe Company, both in Lititz. Her family remembers the pleasure and satisfaction she received caring for her home. For many years she shared a home with her loving sister, Pauline Ditzler, who preceded her in death by three months. She is survived by her son, Terry L., husband of Nancy L. Ament Boyer, of Lititz; a granddaughter, Regan E., wife of Ryan J. Park, of Mount Joy, PA; and four great grandchildren, Hannah, Jenna, Jordynn, and Zachary. A funeral service will be held at the chapel at United Zion Retirement Community, 722 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA on Wednesday morning, January 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Chaplain Ethan L. Levengood officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville, PA. The family will receive guests at the chapel on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
