Gloria F. Longenecker, 87, of Elizabethtown, PA, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Abner R. and Dorothy E. Chrisemer Gish. She was the wife of James A. Longenecker for 66 years on February 21.

Gloria was a former member of Mount Calvary church in Elizabethtown. She enjoyed being around children, babysitting, swimming, walking the dog, and taking long walks.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children and ten grandchildren, Pamela G., wife of Jay Eshleman, of Elizabethtown and their four children, Jeffrey Eshleman, Briana (Michael) Phillippy, Caitlyn Floyd, and Zachary Eshleman; Carol A., wife of Mark Weaver, of Lancaster and their two children, Joseph and Jason Weaver; Dawn M., wife of Stuart Brown, of Manheim and their three children, Michael, Nicholas, and Jonathan Brown; and Kimberly S. Longenecker, of Elizabethtown; a daughter-in-law, Carol Donahue of Lancaster and her daughter, Polina Donahue; five great grandchildren, Lucy and Samson Floyd and Malachi, Emma, and Madison Phillippy; and two siblings, Patricia, wife of Lewis Stouch, of Milroy and Joyce Condon, of Elizabethtown.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Phillip J. Longenecker; a grandson, Brent M. Weaver; and a sister, Mary A. Yingst, and a brother, David Gish.

A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant BIC Cemetery, Mount Joy on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11 AM. There will be no public viewing.
