Gerald H. Engle, Sr., of Manheim, PA., passed away on Sunday morning, March 17, 2024, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Cornwall, Lebanon Co., he was the son of the late Henry P. Engle and Elma (Price) Engle. He was the loving husband of Loretta F. (Engle) Engle, to whom he was married for 57 years.

Gerry proudly served our country in the United States Army.

Gerry was a member of Hope Episcopal Church, of Manheim. He loved fishing, hunting, working in the yard and eating out with Loretta. He loved spending time with this loving family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Veronica S. Fuhrman, of Cornwall, and Gerald H. Engle Jr., of Girardville; three grandchildren; four nieces; and one sister, Bette M. Puckett, of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Luce.
