Donald R. Sell, 94, Cornwall PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Cornwall Manor while in the company of his wife and daughter. Don lived a long life of being devoted to God and his family. He was a hard worker in the US Steel Plant in Johnstown, PA before and after his service in Europe with the Army Medical Detachment 2827th Engineer C Battalion in World War 2. After retirement he and his wife, Jean, moved to Lancaster County to be near their beloved grandchildren. Further blessed with three great-grandchildren in the past 13 years, Don continued his storytelling tradition and games with them. Don was an avid golfer and Steelers fan. Don grew up and raised his family in the Grove Ave. Methodist Church in Johnstown, and was a member of the Cornwall United Methodist Church.
Don is survived by his wife of 67 years, V. Jean Sell, a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Russ Burke of Mount Gretna; grandchildren, Chelsea and Michael Smith, and Grant and Angela Burke; and great grandchildren, Hayden and Carson Smith, and Reilly Burke. His brothers, Dr. Charles Sell (Ginger) and Fred Sell, also survive. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Ilse Sell, and siblings Clifford Sell, Jr., Carmen Sell, Lois Krause, Jim Sell, and Warren Sell.

A private graveside service and interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Please omit flowers.
