Cynthia E. Hoshauer, 50, of 1155 Trout Run Road, Mount Joy, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday evening, February 21, 2010 unexpectedly of natural causes at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Amelia D. Brossman Erb of Stevens, PA and the late Wilbur N. Erb. She was the wife of George E. Hoshauer for 15 years on October 15, 2009. Cindy was a 1977 graduate of Donegal High School and graduated from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1980. For the last 28 years she was a beloved and devoted critical care nurse employed by Hershey Medical Center. Previously, she was employed as a registered nurse by various hospitals in Lancaster and York counties. In addition to flower gardening and needle work, Cindy was a Longaberger consultant. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a brother, Wayne, husband of Joanne Erb, of Mount Joy; two sisters, Christine, wife of Warren Hoover, of Stevens, and Sandra, wife of Earl Geib, of Manheim, PA; father-in-law, William G. Hoshauer, of Terre Hill, PA; and nine nieces and nephews. Family and guests are invited to attend a memorial service at Mohler Church of the Brethren, 21 East Mohler Church Road, Ephrata, PA 17522 on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:30 PM. Interment will be private in Mount Culmen Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery, East Earl, PA. There will be no viewing. The family will receive guests at the church on Wednesday evening from 6-9:00 PM and on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
