Clarence B. Geib, 84, of Manheim, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior and his loving wife on Tuesday afternoon, January 16, 2018 at Masonic Health Care Center in Elizabethtown. Born in Rapho Twp., Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Samuel S. and Annie Bradley Geib. He was the husband of Alta M. Kulp Geib for 61 years prior to her passing in 2014. Clarence was an active member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim and a lifelong Rapho Twp. farmer. Additionally, he was proud to be a part-time employee of Manheim Auto Auction for nearly 48 years. Clarence was a member of Manheim Young Farmers, enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles, and helping his sons with work on the farm. He and Alta supported their grandchildren by attending their events and nurtured a visitation ministry to members in the church and community. He is survived by three children, Rose M., wife of Kevin B. Hickernell, Earl E., husband of Sandra Erb Geib, and Barry L., husband of Dawn M. Moyer Geib, all of Manheim; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Geib Kowalcyk of Millersville. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley D. Geib; and two siblings, an infant brother, Earl Geib, and a sister, Ruth Becker. The family wishes to thank the staff at Masonic Village, including Ben Franklin 3 and Masonic Village Hospice, for the compassionate care given to Clarence and his family during his stay there. A funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA 17545. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests during a viewing at the church on Saturday evening from 6-8:00 PM and on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers.
