Cindy L. Dietz, 65, of Akron, PA, passed unexpectedly into eternity on Wednesday morning, May 17, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital surrounded by her family.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Shirley A. Ream Altman of Akron and the late Gerald F. "Jerry" Altman.

Cindy attended New Joy Brethren in Christ Church in Ephrata.  She was a production worker employed by Harley Davidson in York, and Donnelley Printing and the former K-D Tool Company, both in Lancaster.  She was also employed as a waitress by Ephrata Diner.  Cindy enjoyed watching professional sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family, pets, and crocheting.

She is survived by a son, Brian E. Fredrickson, of Denver, PA; a daughter, Brittany R. Dietz of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Alivia Fredrickson of Denver; and a sister, Sherry L. Jones, of York.
