Alma R. Reisinger, 86, of Elizabethtown, PA, formerly of Manheim, went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Friday morning, May 3, 2019 at Lancashire Hall in Lancaster following a decline in health. Born in South Londonderry Twp., Lebanon Co., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Martha Reigle Ebersole. She was the wife of Ernest L. Reisinger for 64 years on January 22.
A homemaker, Alma was a faithful member of Chiques Church of the Brethren where she served as Vacation Bible School director and assisted her husband in his role as an ordained minister in the congregation.
In addition to vegetable and flower gardening and fishing, Alma enjoyed spending time in Potter County with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, often to visit family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline F., wife of Rex A, Ensz, of Mount Hope, KS, and Sandra L. Reisinger of Lancaster County; and three grandchildren, Rehana J. Franklin, Isaac N. Ensz, and Daniel L. Franklin. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Arlene Campbell, Warren Ebersole, Ralph Ebersole, John Ebersole, and Eugene Ebersole.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA 17545. Private interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. There will be no public viewing. The family will receive guests during a luncheon at the church immediately following the service. If desired, contributions may be made to COBYS, 1417 East Oregon Road, Leola, PA 17540 or to the benevolent fund of Chiques Church of the Brethren.
