Adelene L. Dukeman, 85, passed from this life on Thursday morning, December 15, 2011 at Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community after a week long illness. Born in Upper Leacock Twp., Lancaster County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence B. Stetzman Stoltzfus. A Jehovah's Witness, Adelene was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Mount Joy, PA. In her earlier days, she is remembered as having been employed at Wilbur's Chocolate Factory in Lititz, PA, as a bus driver for physically and mentally challenged passengers, and as a seamstress in a former dress factory in Mount Joy, PA. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday evening, December 19, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 861 Milton Grove Road, Mount Joy, PA with Samuel W. Mauray, II officiating. There will be no viewing or stated time for visitation.
