Kim M. Sensenig, 50, of 138 Washington Avenue, Ephrata, PA, formerly of New Holland, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning, November 18, 2008 at Essa Flory Hospice Center in Lancaster following a three year battle with cancer. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was adopted at birth by Violet Ford Helenthal of New Holland and the late John E. Helenthal. She was the wife of Roger L. Sensenig for 11 years on July 11.
Kim was a 1976 graduate of Garden Spot High School in New Holland. In addition to being a homemaker, she also was an independent sales representative for Avon. She attended Lititz Grace Church and was a member of the Next Tier ABF Class. In addition to spending time in the mountains, she enjoyed reading and solving word puzzles.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her birth mother, Joyce Brown Meli of Sun City West, AZ; a daughter, Danielle M. Kreitz of Ephrata; a son, Jonathan E. Sensenig at home; a step son, Justin S. Sensenig of Denver, PA; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Alivia Settle; a step granddaughter, Shelby Sensenig; three sisters, Vickie, wife of Timothy Good of Cave Creek, AZ, Lisa, wife of James Garland of Lititz, PA, and Terri, wife of Michael Klevis of Coatesville; and a brother, Kenneth McMinn of Pottstown, PA. She was also preceded in death by a son, Tevin M. Kreitz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Lititz Grace Church, 501 West Lincoln Avenue, Lititz, PA with Pastor William Willard officiating. Private interment in Wolf's Cemetery, Ephrata. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Russell D. Iobst, 65, of 6045 Geneva Drive, East Petersburg, PA, formerly of Endicott, NY, went home to be with his Lord on Monday morning, November 10, 2008 at his home following a brief illness. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Oscar R. Ibost of Quincy, PA and the late Arlene M. Bartholomew Ibost. He was married to Keneen M. Brown Iobst for 43 years on August 14th.
Russell was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, PA where he served on the Great Commission committee, served as an elder, and sang in the senior choir. During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Navy. Prior to retiring in 2003 as a human resource manager, he was employed for 33 years by Proctor and Gamble.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, which included trips to Maine and Bethany Beach, DE. He also enjoyed reading, especially books of historical nature, and volunteering at Water Street Rescue Mission in Lancaster. Russell served on the Hershey Christian School Board and the Lancaster Youth Aid Panel. Recently, he was involved with mission work to Native Americans in Oregon.
In addition tho his wife and father, he is survived by a daughter, Laurie, wife of David A. Keller, MD of Hershey, PA; a son, Michael K., husband of Jennifer Isherwood-Iobst of Bangor, ME; five grandchildren, Eleanor, Ethan, and Margaret Keller, and Zoë and Lilah Iobst.; a sister, Marie Iobst of Binghamton, NY; and his step-mother, Barbara Iobst of Quincy. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley A. Iobst.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon, November 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 with Dr. Michael A. Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 6-8:00 PM and during a luncheon immediately following the interment. The family requests that flowers please be omitted. Ethel M. Raffensperger, 81, of 3735 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, PA, formerly of Adams County, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday morning, October 16, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA, following an illness of 20 years. Born in Romney, WV, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lavinia Moreland Henderson. She was the wife of Fred C. Raffensperger, Sr. for 23 years on June 16.
A homemaker, Ethel also provided home health care to patients in her earlier years. For 23 years, she faithfully attended Lititz Grace Church where she was part of a women's Bible study and was involved with People Enjoying People senior ministry. Ethel exercised the spiritual disciplines of Bible study and fervant prayer. She enjoyed flower gardening and tending a beautiful lawn.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Barry W. Welker of St. Pierre Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, CN, and Boyd E., Sr., husband of Dolores Dillinger Welker of Gettysburg, PA; Fred's children, Sharon J., wife of Bradley E. Rice of East Berlin, PA, and Fred C., Jr., husband of Leslie Jo Michael Raffensperger of Manheim; five grandchildren, Amy, wife of Toby Skvarka of Newville, PA, Boyd E. Welker, Jr. of Pottstown, PA, Jerry A. Johnson of York Springs, PA, Shane M. Raffensperger and Haley Jo Raffensperger, both of Manheim; and four sisters, Ina Ginevan of Emmetsburg, MD, Eva Stephans of Baltimore, MD, Evelyn Roberts of Hanover, PA, and Doris Alberts of Scranton, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Welker, who died in 1982; a granddaughter, Jeanna A. Beckner; three sisters, Edith Raffensperger, Esta Brinning, and Geneva Robinson; and two brothers, Boyd and Earlsel Henderson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday morning, October 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Chapel, 5575 Oxford Road, Gardners, PA. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville, PA. Mark C. Stehman, 77, of Manheim, PA went home to be with his Lord on Thursday evening, October 9, 2008 at his residence due to natural causes. Born in Penn Twp., he was the son of the late Tobias S. and Anna L. Buffenmyer Stehman. He was married to Almeda R. Lehman Stehman for 53 years on June 11th.
Mr. Stehman was a member of Mount Joy Church of God. Prior to retiring, he was a working foreman in the stockroom of the former Fuller Company in Manheim where he was employed for 41 years. Mark used his ability as an "all-around handyman" to accomplish his varied interests.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sharon L., wife of Allen R. Kline of Lititz; a son, David L., husband of Cathy S. Longenecker Stehman of Manheim; grandchildren, Steven R. Kline, Daniel S. Kline, Emily A. Stehman, and Melissa S. Stehman; ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Violet Dietrich of Farmersville, PA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Stehman and John Stehman; and two sisters, Ruth McMullen and Naomi Martin.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Mount Joy Church of God, 30 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA with Rev. Robert Malick officiating. Carlos P. Colon, 44, of 438 South Duke Street, Lancaster, PA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 24, 2008. Born in Bayamon, PR, he was the son of Tomasa Matos Gonzalez of Lancaster and the late Lucas P. Colon.
Carlos was baptized in the Catholic faith. He was a great father, son, brother, and uncle and will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Carlos E. Colon, Jr. and Antonio E. Colon, both of Lancaster; siblings, Wilda Matos, Rosa Graupera, Carmen Santos, Marisol Ortega, Jose Gonzalez, Lucas Piesch, Juan Piesch, Antonio Piesch, and Miguel Colon, all of Lancaster, and Luz Colon and Lucas Colon, both of PR; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Beula C. Latsha, 95, formerly of Camp Hill and Hickory Corners, PA died on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at the Willow Valley Retirement Community in Willow Street, PA.
She was born December 30, 1912, in Hunter Station, PA to John and Emma Shaffer Reed. Her husband of 51 years, Henry Latsha, died in 1981.
She worked for many years at the former Bowman's Department Store in Harrisburg. She loved to garden, travel, and visit with family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, Stanley, Fred, and Paul, and a sister, Carrie Klock.
Surviving are two daughters, Sara, widow of Richard Bixler, Camp Hill, and Anna, wife of Byron Babcock, Willow Street, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Services and interment will be private.

J. Robert Bruckhart, 55, of 489 Doe Run Road, Manheim, PA, died Tuesday evening, September 2, 2008 as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. Born in Penn Twp., he was the son of the late Paul H., Sr. and Alma M. Shank Bruckhart. He was the husband of Sharon L. Wolgemuth Bruckhart for 33 years on June 14th.
Bob was a 1971 graduate of Manheim Central High School. He was a member of Lititz Grace Church. He was employed as a sales representative by Chemgro in East Petersburg for more than 30 years. Spending time with his family was his priority. He also enjoyed boating, riding motorcycle, and farming.
He was the father of Jared R., husband of Mindi N. Horst Bruckhart of Brownstown, the late Jerel R. Bruckhart, and Jonna R. Bruckhart, fiancé of Brent A. Pierce, both of Manheim. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Judah R., Alaina G, and Carter R, Bruckhart; four sisters, Amy, wife of Mark Hollinger of New Holland, Kathryn, wife of Ronald Kline of Troy, PA, Linda, wife of Carl Fahnestock of Manheim, and Sue, wife of Barry Weidman of Manheim; two brothers, Paul, Jr., husband of Diane Bruckhart of Manheim, and Gene, husband of Linda Bruckhart of Lititz; a step-sister, Linda, wife of Glenn Laverty of Mount Holly Springs, PA; a step-brother, Steve, husband of Marilyn Edris of Manheim; and his step-mother, Verna, wife of Kenneth Eshleman, formerly of Manheim.

Nancy L. Weidman, 54, of 325 North 3rd Street, Columbia, PA, died Monday morning, August 18, 2008 at Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster, PA following a lengthy illness. Born in Indiana, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis T. and Nelda R. Solinski Buggy.
Nancy attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mount Joy. She was employed by the former Datcon in East Petersburg where she manufactured instruments for various types of transportation vehicles.
She is survived by two brothers, Michael Buggy, her primary caregiver and with whom she shared a home, and Patrick R., husband of Katie K. Stoltzfus Buggy of Manheim; and a niece, Nelda Buggy. |

Sharon L. McCamant Patches, 44, of 406 Fairview Road, Manheim, PA, formerly of Lebanon, PA, died Monday morning, August 4, 2008 at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, PA. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of John N. McCamant, Jr., husband of Patricia McCamant, of Paradise, PA and the late Bonnie L. Kauffman Highfield. She was the wife of Timothy P. Patches, Exalted Ruler of Lancaster Lodge No. 134, BPO Elks. They were married for 13 years on October 31.
Sharon was employed as office manager for 10 years by Trinity Management Associates in Lancaster, PA. Being very family oriented, she demonstrated her love for her nieces and nephews by attending their sporting events. Sharon was a cast member in the original film, Hairspray. In addition to photography, she enjoyed helping others in need.
In addition to her husband, father, and step-mother, she is survived by her step-father, John E. Highfield of Lebanon; a step-son, L. Cpl. Zachary R. Patches, Camp Pendleton, CA; two sisters, Kimberly A., wife of Nathan J. Brightbill and Stacy L. McCamant, both of Annville, PA; a half-brother, John N. McCamant, III of Paradise; two step-sisters, Melanie, wife of Albert Cormier of Leominster, MA and Amy, wife of Tito Ford of York, PA; and 13 nieces and nephews.

Carol Lynn Nelson, 70, of 1005 Bond Street, Lititz, PA died Friday evening, August 1, 2008 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Mark Nelson.
Carol attended the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Lancaster. She was a graduate of Millersville University, Madison (VA) College, and Marion (VA) College. Prior to retiring, she was employed by the School District of Lancaster as an elementary teacher. She was a member of Beta Kappa Gamma sorority. Carol also volunteered at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her sister, Jo Anne, wife of Howard R. Rhinier of Lancaster; two nieces, Deborah Tobolski of Lititz and Julie Ross of Lancaster; two nephews, Howard Wayne Rhinier and James Nelson Rhinier, both of Lancaster; two great nieces, Amanda Rhinier and Meghan Tobolski; and two great nephews, Ryan Tobolski and Zachery Ross.
